Lawyer Referral and Information Service
The Atlanta Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) was founded in 1955 with a mission to provide and promote access to the legal system through an organized referral service and grant program. These services match potential clients with attorneys based on their practice areas, ensuring that referrals are relevant and high quality.
By participating, attorneys can increase their visibility and build a steady stream of new cases without the need for extensive marketing efforts. This allows them to focus on providing excellent legal representation while benefiting from a trusted source of client referrals.
Our LRIS staff receives over 45,000 calls per year. As of January 2025, LRIS-referred clients have generated $5,159,003 in fees for panelists since it's inception. The cost to join the LRIS panel is $125 annually, which includes 10 practice area panels. Please click here to learn more.
ATLANTA BAR FOUNDATION
The Atlanta Bar Foundation, as a charitable arm of the Atlanta Bar Association Foundation, supports projects that promote equal access to justice, youth development programs and public understanding of the law. This includes youth development programs, such as the Minority & Diversity Clerkship Program and Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP). A suggested donation of $30 will support the ongoing work of the Foundation. You may opt out of this contribution at any time.
