The Real Estate Section is comprised of several hundred attorneys in the metropolitan Atlanta area. Our membership is quite diverse, and includes attorneys whose practices involve commercial real estate transactions, residential real estate transactions, environmental issues, foreclosures, the litigation of real estate disputes, and a variety of other issues, including tax, corporate transactions, and international issues. We conduct monthly breakfast meetings throughout the Bar year (August through May) at which speakers provide information on timely topics affecting the real estate industry. Each of our breakfast sessions provides a continuing legal education hour, and offers time before and after the presentation for meeting and networking with other real estate attorneys. Throughout the Bar year, the Section also conducts other events, including social events in the fall and spring, and schedules other special events in conjunction with other Sections of the Atlanta Bar. The Section has spearheaded the initiation of a notable pro bono project working with the Fulton State Court system providing advice for landlords in cases involving rental disputes. We also keep our members up to date through a Newsletter that is published two to three times a year.

The annual dues of $35 to become a member of the Atlanta Bar Association Real Estate Section is a bargain.
