Atlanta Bar Foundation Overview

The Atlanta Bar Foundation, as the charitable arm of the Atlanta Bar Association, supports charitable projects that promote equal access to justice, assistance to youth and public understanding of the law. 

Atlanta Bar Foundation Grants Program
Established in 1985 and in partnership with the Atlanta Bar Association Lawyer Referral and Information Service, the Atlanta Bar Foundation Grants Program supports youth development programs of the Atlanta Bar Association, law related programs in the Atlanta area, and local non-profit legal services providers throughout metro Atlanta. To date, the program has distributed $1.4 million to worthy recipients. 

Beneficiaries of Atlanta Bar Foundation support have included the Atlanta Bar Association Summer Law Internship Program and Minority and Diversity Clerkship Program, Atlanta Santa, Truancy Intervention Project, Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta, Georgia Asylum & Immigration, Georgia Justice Project, Georgia Law Center for the Homeless, Georgia Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, among others.
