Atlanta Bar Association Standards for In-Person Events
Effective May 14, 2021
Given the expiration of Georgia’s Public Health State of Emergency, the loosening or elimination of government restrictions on group activities, and the widespread availability of COVID-19 vaccines to the general public, the Board of Directors of the Atlanta Bar Association lifts the moratorium on in-person events first adopted on March 13, 2020.
The Association, its Committees, Sections, and other subdivisions have discretion to plan in-person events that meet the needs of their members.
In-person events shall comply with governing health standards and promote healthy behaviors, including masks, hand sanitation, appropriate spacing, and minimizing high touch areas.
It is each member’s individual responsibility to follow the CDC guidelines that apply to his or her vaccine status.
Event registration with an appropriate waiver will continue to be on-line.
