The Criminal Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association is open to all Bar members who have a common interest in criminal law proceedings, including prosecutors and defense counsel, by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas leading to the improvement of individual trial abilities in various areas of criminal law. The Criminal Law Section meets monthly to present continuing legal education seminars or round table discussions on emerging issues in criminal law. The Criminal Law Section also co-sponsors meetings and social events with other sections. The Criminal Law Section is also active in philanthropic efforts in Atlanta, including supporting high school students for legal internships, and volunteering with community organizations such as the Truancy Intervention Project.

The annual dues of $35 to become a member of the Atlanta Bar Association Criminal Law Section is a bargain.
