The Bankruptcy Section held its second virtual Annual Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Year in Review on February 10, 2022. The event was well attended, and the attendees enjoyed the opportunity to hear from the distinguished panelists on the most important bankruptcy and commercial law case developments from the last year covering both commercial and consumer bankruptcy cases. The morning session focused on recent developments in bankruptcy law and included Judge Mary Grace Diehl (Ret. U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Georgia), and Judge Paul Bonapfel (U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Georgia). Additional panelists for the morning session were Beth Anne Harrill (law clerk for the Honorable Paul W. Bonapfel, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of Georgia) and Harris Winsberg (Parker, Hudson, Rainer & Dobbs LLP). The afternoon session focused on developments in commercial law and was presented by C. Edward Dobbs (Parker Hudson Rainer & Dobbs LLP) and Alfred Lurey (Kilpatrick Townsend LLP).
