Fall Breakfast Meeting & Presentation
The Bankruptcy Section held its first breakfast meeting of the fall on Thursday, September 26, at the offices of Arnall Golden Gregory
LLP. Twenty-five section members and several bankruptcy judges gathered to watch the sun rise and take in a presentation on The
Automatic Stay and the Discharge Injunction following Taggart v. Lorenzen. Alexandra CC Schnapp (U.S Bankruptcy Court,
Law Clerk to the Hon. Wendy L. Hagenau) moderated the panel presented by Matt Berry (Berry & Associates) and Vanessa Leo
(Shapiro Pendergast & Hasty, LLP). The program generated lively discussion and was well-received.

Fall Social
On October 17, 2019, the Bankruptcy Section hosted its annual Fall Social at Sweetwater Brewing. Approximately forty attendees enjoyed beer brews, BBQ bites, and bankruptcy babble at Atlanta’s favorite brewery. We lucked out with fantastic fall weather – perfect
for mixing and mingling outside!
