Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers Section
The Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers Section provides the varied educational, service, networking and mentoring opportunities that our law school student and young lawyer members need to grow and develop as attorneys. Members can learn the necessary steps to navigate their first trial, execute their first transactional deal, or establish their own firm through our diverse continuing legal education programs. Every month, our members meet in our supportive mentoring breakfasts to discuss topics of interest to younger lawyers and ask questions that they might not feel comfortable asking lawyers within their firms. We also provide networking forums through our popular monthly social events.
The ACYL Section has numerous opportunities for involvement and leadership within our Association and in the community. Section members work together to meet vital needs of the community by raising funds for and volunteering with legal services organizations. Visit the Atlanta Bar calendar to see a list of what’s happening in our Section.
Membership is free for law school students. Nominal dues of $15 for first year in practice lawyers and $25 for age 36 or younger (or 3 years or less in practice) make becoming a member of the ACYL Section a bargain.
